Overview

What AZENYX is

AZENYX is private financial infrastructure for EVM chains. Value is held as shielded notes inside a custody pool; orders are authorized with zero-knowledge proofs, admitted by a matcher, and settled on-chain, while the private terms of an order are only opened inside a separate private prover boundary.

The lifecycle in one view

  1. Deposit → shielded note (commitment in the pool Merkle tree)
  2. ↓ Client prepares a private order and proves eligibility in zero knowledge
  3. ↓ Matcher verifies the proof against on-chain state at one pinned block
  4. ↓ Durable admission + prover hand-off record (one atomic commit)
  5. ↓ Private prover opens the protected order section (OPENED)
  6. ↓ Settlement, or cancel / reclaim / emergency exit (terminal nullifier)

Roles

Client — holds note secrets, builds proofs and encrypted order payloads locally. Matcher — verifies proofs and public admission conditions; never receives decrypted private order terms or prover keys. Prover — a private service that holds epoch keys and opens admitted payloads for private execution. Contracts — custody, verifiers, policy registry and recovery paths.
